unfortunatly last years Freakin wasn't anything amazing, we made the trip from Toronto to see Digweed. He was great, but the crowd was garbage. No vibe at all. I'm sorry if I offended you Montreal-partiers out there. I realize they aint candy kids, but there is an inbetween.
I am interested in going tho, mainly because Max is the ing man. Jazzy Jeff, hehhe I do agree, very interesting. I'd love to see him just so I could tell my kids about how Uncle Phil used to throw him out of the mansion all the time. heh
Not to mention Seb Fontaine is Mr. Radio One now, so it could be a good show.
peace

Jon :
Sorry to hear that you didn't have that great of a time at last years freaky, but I would totally have to disagree with you when you said "the crowd was garbage". I found the crowd to be amazing for that party, it wasn't a bunch of clubber b/s attitude and no it wasn't a candy kid party, but everyone seemed to be partying together and the crowd seemed extremely happy. Here's a quote from a post I made earlier.
"The thing I liked most about Freaky last year was the crowd, I found everyone to be extremely awesome and friendly, and it seemed as if everyone was partying together and it wasn't secluded at all."
Anyhow, once again, I'm sorry to hear that you didn't have the greatest experience, but I think with the majority of parties, the better part of it is what you make of it for yourself. Is it possible there was something bringing you down besides the crowd?
Well if you come this year, I hope that you have a way better experience, but if you really want to check out a Montreal party, you guys should definitely come check out one of the bigger parties also, because Freaky's most likely the smallest. |

ya guy it was just opinion, I said that in the post, not to get offended. Montreal people are great, my opinion was that the crowd was not in it "together". I have been to parties were everyone was on the same wavelength, my personal experience was that everyone was on their own at this party. Sorray ! lol
and Toronto is still far surperior. I wanna see a Destiny Vs. 514 post! hahah I'm kidding I'm kidding, please don't reply to that! haha

P.S I love that monkey icon haha |

Hey,
No worries, I wasn't offended at all. I just find it funny that you and I both got completely different outlooks on the same party. Just goes to show that not every party is going to be the same for everyone!
How is Destiny productions? I haven't heard anything about them before. I'll tell you this much, 514 has tried to scam us many times in the past, but lately it seems as if they've been getting a lot better.
Yeah the monkey kicks ass :p |

i dont know what you guys think, but i think that lineup isnt really something to get too excited about, considering max graham plays montreal like once a week ;)
and the next big dj is seb fontaine...
but i guess it's a little difficult to top freaky 2000 w/ digweed and deep dish. |
