Holden is supposed to be in San Diego @ L5 according to his agency that night... hmmmmmmmm
That could have changed...I suppose you got the info in an email.
Astral Projection plays Avalon that same night...that's a nice lineup for the club!!
Lavelle is up here the Wednesday night at Anu, so surely a nice intimate setting with about 100 people inside. |

I saw James Lavelle (last night, technically sat. morning). It was fun because the idiotic noobs in the crowd kept yelling and cheering.
Lavelled played at least 8 UNKLE tracks (including 4 to start off), his GU026, great hype but 17 of 26 tracks were Lavelle or Meat Katie. Has Lavelle finally lost the ing plot and gone back to playing last year's vinyl and having fun about it. First 4 tracks were the following
DJ Shadow feat. Roots Manuva – GDMFSOB (Unkle Rock Mix)
Queens of the Stone Age - No One Knows (Unkle Reconstruction)
Unkle – In A State (Sasha Remix)
Unkle – Reign
Seven Nation Freeland
Smells like Freeland
all in the first hour...then fear (Unkle Mix) and a bunch of others. I'm all for deejays playing their own but their has to be a line that you cross (PvD, Tiesto, Ferry, Armin all known for doing this as well, do you think deejays have lost the ing plot and gone to attention whoring their labels). |
i hope its nothing like his set in toronto:conf: |
