| ok...so i hear that if u have cable internet...u can also use the line and put it in ur tv and get cable tv to!...i know it can happen...but how?...i put the line in teh back of my tv...but everything but basic is scambled. can any1 help? |

| No, that doesn't work...and it wouldn't work if you just had cable tv and hooked up a cable modem. If you purchase the service then a dude comes and changes something and then viola you have cable. You could however purchase a "descrambler" box but that wouldn't be legal.:) |

I moved to another house in the same complex just to get away from some kids. Anyways, the very first day i was there, i wanted to see (for some miracle) that the cable company had immediatley transferred cable to my new apartment. Seems it worked. and so did the Cable TV. About a month later i was getting a lil worried about the cable bill since it never came. So i called up the company to see if they had my new adress.
"will i be receiving my cable bill soon before the deadline to pay it?"
"sir, according my my records, you do not have any of our services"
::hang up::
for the 1.5 years i lived there, i had free cable tv and internet. never saw a bill, never saw a lawsuit or anything. |

get free cable tv by plugging the cable into a videocapture card in your computer and using software which can descramble the image - some people do it in australia
only drawback is that you can only watch the cable on your computer screen and unless its a good pc it needs to be reasonably low res |

| i had a software descrambler for my old old old WinTV card. Horrible resolution on it. i just used it for playstation mostly, and, every now and then, sneak a peak at some of the porn channels |

| i only pay for comcast cable internet $30/month and i split the cable line and I can get channels 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 haha pretty weak |

| it does infact work. i did this at my apartment in college. all i did was use a splitter, one for the cable modem and one for the tv. you only get basic cable though. |

it does actually work... the last place i lived i put a splitter on the internet cable and sure enough i was also getting cable tv...
but even if it doesnt work, why dont you just get a ladder and hook it up yer self... or look in that lill magik box and hook it up
