I'm gonna pick a pair up, but I dunno which to get, in terms of brand and model.
btw I want good ones, not sissy ones that don't properly isolate your ears, but also not ones that destroy your ears. |

If you aren't a DJ, you don't need either of the sets listed so far.
You also don't need MDRV-700.
Get either a pair of Grado SR-60s (or 80s) or a pair of MDRV-600s. |

he wants phones that will isolate. While I love my modded SR-80's, they arn't exactly what he's looking for as they are OPEN cans.
I think to help you more we need a price range and info on the type of system you'll be using them with and in what situation (home listening/dj/portable/etc). Also, the style of phones your interested in (clipons/earbuds/full cans). Thanks |

price range: reasonable for the quality you get in the product specified
function: computer (music/gaming), general audio listening, and looking badass (lol)
style: as long as it doesn't look like - also not earbud, as they obviously don't isolate |

| it depends on if you wana walk around with them on or not. but if not,get v600s. thats what i use, for just at home, cause they look kinda stupid walking around ;D |

I paid 89 for my 280s. I definitely think they're worth that much money. So, yeah... look into them.
As for isolation, I read a review before buying them that they cancel more noise than the 400 dollar Bose headphones that are designed to do that very thing. |
