id say the sound in KH sounds a bit better than the guv but its not as loud, its a comfortable loud that doesnt hurt your ears. |

Sounds like someone needs a dose of BOA, their sound system that is! The Guv has better sound so that's why you may find that the KH hurts your ears... It comes down to quality, how much distortion and the actual clarity of sound... The worse any of the above is, your ears are going to be ringing the next day... :nervous:
Normal earplugs should suffice, the 3M kind, I think they're rated 29dB reduction?
You should be able to speak with another person at your normal voice by their ear. If you're yelling, then it's too loud.

I've never been to Kool Haus, only Guvernment to see PVD and I got a couple questions.
1) Does Kool Haus have lasers and lighting that goes with the music like the guv room? (Strobe at the climax of a buildup)
2) Where does the dj play? (in front of the crowd or in a booth)
3) Is the crowd as crazy and pumped and jumping as they are in guv?
4) Is there a close place to smoke like the patio in guv?
5) How packed does it get? (I like it to be full but still about an arms length from the nearest person) |

Answers
1) No lazers but lighing is ok
2) Usually the DJs are on the stage but lately they've been moving them all over and making up special stages
3) Depends on the night and on the DJ...but generally speaking it's the exact same crowd, just different room
4) I heard from Tordan there's a patio outside now
5) Lately it never gets really packed, you can always find lots of room on the sides or in the back.
