but actualy i wanted to get a few references on some clubs, bars and shops for records and clothes (would be nice if you could add the adresses if you know them..) :)

for all your shopping needs: kalvestraat, behind madame tussaud and neuwendijk (sort like the extention of kalvestraat). if you continue on it, you'll hit harlemestraat (also lots of shops and restraurants there). on neuwendijk you've got midtown, most others are around that area also.

clubs: escape is tons of fun even tho they dont play much trance there. kingdom is great on fridays (old kremlin)

on leidseplein, there's a comedy club boom chicago. its ran by americans i think, lots of fun. good places to eat around there too. the best mexican i've ever had is at kerkstraat 63 called los pilones, they also serve great margaritas.

theres a good australian bar on rembrendplein called coco's outback. not bad food there. esprit cafe has good food also, its at spui square. good irish bar on rokin, the tara. its right behind all the construction there, between dam and spui

i cant think of anything else right now. but jp is probably the best source you can ever find :) . i could also answer some of your questions

btw, my spelling of the streets is a little rusty, it may not be very accurate :D
