I was looking on ebay and found a good pair of tenics not too expentive and I was wondering if there is a way to clean the table if there was too many dust for exemple during the storage or if it really not a good thing at all and it not cleanable ???

I will look for something else if it not cleanable.
He say They are in perfect working order - they function flawlessly and he has 100% positive feedback so it a bit encouraging but just in case :(

Auction end soon I need a fast answer plz

Hey man...

I would say get them... once you have them, you can get a can of compressed air, and blow out all the tiny cracks and crevasses on the deck, including the pitch slider, and around the motor, around the tonearm etc...

You can also use some Simple Green cleaning liquid (or equivalent) to scrub down any stuck on crap... it should come out looking ALMOST brand new.. My mate did that to his technic and you would never know that it had been storeage...

Yup, I did exactly that, I bought the Tech from a garage shop, and the thing was filthy dirty, you couldn't even see the dots on the platter, but I took a chance anfter testing out the motor, and after 2 hours of cleaning, with all sorts of house hold cleaners, some compressed air, and a bunch of q-tips, and now it looks awesome, I couldn't believe how good the condition was after.

So I say go for it and get them.

You really have to respect the resiliency of 1200s. You really can clean dirty ones up if you want to, and you can replace almost any of the parts.
