when DO the gates open on friday? and also, say two of the people in my car are underage, and 2 people aren't.......can they bring booze in? or would it be better to wait till we're IN wasaga beach, and THEN get alcohol? |
Gates open at 12 noon.
If your bringing in Booze make sure it's in plastic bottles or cans and you can't bring in alcohol if you have underage people in your vehicle too. Let those ppl out before the gates that way you won't have that problem.
When you enter with your vehicle you have to pay an extra $20 (per vehicle not person) for parking. If you pay for parking and leave the grounds with your vehicle you will have to pay another $20 upon re-entry of the grounds (it's all on the waiver). There's no in-and-out policy for the parking pass. |

yeah the parking thing sucks... I want to go somewhere sometime in the afternoon on the Saturday, but that's kinda iffy right now... don't really feel paying another $20 to park again. |

YOU ONLY HAVE TO PAY FOR PARKING ONCE - SAME AS EVERY YEAR
To clarify the waiver statemnt - there is no driving IN THE CAMGROUNDS. You may park on site where people are not camping and eneter and exit as much as you want. There is a free Wasaga town bus looping around town and back to wemf all day saturday. |

It doesn't seem like alot right now, but I guess we'll be able to tell later on in the week.
Now, here's something that might convince some ppl to go...
WASAGA WATERWORLD!!!!!! Very Close by!!!!
I'm up for this on the Saturday if it's nice enough. |
The free shutle takes you from wemf directly to wasaga waterworld and back. If you show your wemf wristband you will also save five dollars off regular admision to the park.
There is go-carting, batting cages, mini golf and bumper boats on site at wemf as well. (right next to the gne!) |

Dude I must be blind, cuz I filled the waiver and didn't see anything about paying $20 for parking. I see there is no in/out for vehicle in campsite but you can park in the car only lot if you plan on driving to town. So if i'm wrong, please let me know. |
