What tunes have this affect on people?
For me it's ricardo villalobos - dexter.
It was a great tune to begin with, but I just can't help loving this track.:) |

Todays growing track of the day: Britney Spears - Everytime (The Scumfrog Vocal mix)
Don't flame me if you didn't hear it at least 4 times first, OK? :D |

I liked Way Out West's "Apollo" the more I listened to it. First time around I got a general grasp on the tune, but it was not until subsequent listens that I got a hint as to the more subtle beauty behind the track.
Hey Jarjar (Binks?), mesa no flame you for liking Britney Spears (by proxy) :) Fan of hers here myself, and I treasure a tasty remix of her pop songs. |

| The whole Airdrawndagger album by Sasha. Mixed reviews, but the more I listen to it, the better it gets. So deep... |

I hear that..
When I first listened to it, I thought it was dead and boring, wasn't sure what everyone was raving about it for. I came back to it a few months later, however, once my tastes had matured a little, and couldn't stop listening to it |

Yeah... no doubt... I find there's a certain lilting psychology to it... once you get more used to "strange new sounds", they grow increasingly comfortable and you can enjoy and appreciate them more. It's the sort of thing you have to hang in there for, but the upside are that growers have a larger impact on you over the long-term for this very reason. I like music that may hook me right away but has elements inside that intrigue me deeper into the sound. As in, catchy melodies, but perhaps some odd esoteric method of sound manipulation, or something that just strikes me as delightfully quirky and layered deep. This applies all over the spectrum, personally.
One theory of mine why Airdrawndagger turned out the way it did because Sasha worked on it, on and off between touring and other work, for something like 5 long years. It must have been such a gradual process for him and his collaborators in the studio. |

| this kind of happened to me with Balance 005, I picked some favorites at first but now I love every single track, and with Involver as well, I picked some that I really liked but now I love them all. |
