hi everyone....
my first post in the montreal forum and if others have asked this question i apologize in advance...
coming to town on the september long weekend and looking to book a cheaper hotel($100 or less)...a few i'm looking at so far are st.andres, manoir des alpes and hotel viger...looking for the gay village area or close to it...
basically looking for some advice, if one is better than the other or if i should avoid one....also any other suggestions would be appreciated.....going to be partying most of the weekend so not spending much time in my room....doesnt have to be a palace, just clean...
thanks |

| there really should be a "all you need to know about montreal" thread. they used to have one about toronto. not sure if its still there. people always ask what are the good clubs, what are the good afterhours, cheap places to stay. good places to eat etc.. (this last one shouldnt really be asked though, because the answer quite obviously is st. hubert every night :D :D ) not to knock you tbf.. just would be alot easier for everyone even the people asking for the information. |

I wish I could help more... just try reading reviews that are posted about those hotels. I'm not very knowledgeable on cheap good hotels in Montreal. It's easy to recommend expensive good ones though!
I found one called VIP Loft Hotel, address is: 329 ontario street east
Corner St denis Street. That's close to the area you described, might want to check that out too.
Good luck! |

| I was just looking on www.montreal.com and they have a search for hotels in different areas. Might want to try that. |
