Israel ranked in top fifteen percent of overall quality of life
Annual UN poll shows Israel is not so bad a place to live, ranking it 22 out of 177 nations in overall quality of life

The annual report published by the UN rating the overall standard and quality of life among its 177 members put Israel in place number 22. The report is based on a variety of economic, social, political, legal, cultural and environmental criteria, such as standard of living, relative equality, political freedom, quality and impartiality of justice, state of environment and other criteria
Heading the list as usual are the Scandinavian countries, France, Germany, the Benelux, the UK ad other veteran EU members, the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.
Israel ranks ahead of several EU countries, including Greece, which is two places behind Israel.
Israel is in a class of its own compared to its regional neighbors, with most of the Arab world ranking below 90.
AND THIS IS FROM A GROUP THAT DESPISES ISRAEL!
SIERA LEEONE IS LAST ON THIS LIST. A COUNTRY THAT IS GIVEN SO MUCH CREDIT THAT IT EVEN SITS ON THE SECURITY COUNCIL REGARDING THE SECURITY FENCE IN ISRAEL.

| understandable, but the Human Development Index annual report is a very comprehensive evaluation by any standard and does hold merit. |

Er...who says the UN despises Israel?! Its not like they've been forced to comply with any resolution passed against it is it?! Seems like the UN lets Israel get away with murder compared to most countries! Bloody favouritism!!! the funny thing is that also the Palestinian Authotority is included in the list as an induvidual country, and ranked in place 102, which is above egypt & syria for example. :haha: :stongue:

One, Israel gets slightly* more aid than Egypt gets (Israel gets 1/3 of ALL American foreign aid) and two, Israel has slightly* less people than Egypt...
