Orbital's final performance on Radio 1.

I haven't been able to find another thread on this, and wanted to make sure that everyone is aware of the upcoming final performance by Orbital. The set is to take place from 3PM-5PM (Pacific) on Wednesday, July 28th, 2004. It will broadcast on Radio 1.

I'm looking forward to this because it's obviously going to be one hell of a show... but at the same time, it's a goodbye that no one really wants to say.

| I got my first taste of Orbital when watching the first Mortal Kombat movie. One of the first tunes that got me into EDM in general. Respect for them indeed. |

To my eternal shame I have never seen Orbital :whip:
I do however have a large part of their discography and whilst I am sure i will never fully appreciate their influence on EDM, I find it amazing that their existence has trancended politics, styles and snobbery to leave us with some truly unforgettable music
I wish the Hartnolls every success with whatever they decide to focus on and I will of course be tuning in :) |
