Astral Projection / j00f !!!! (pg. 3)

After a long absence from DC, John '00' Fleming returned to Nation and played one of the most amazing and original trance sets I've heard this year! The whole night in the main room was incredible! I must say I was once again impressed with Cyzum...great opening set! As soon as J00F was on, I didn't leave the main room until the very end! It was almost two hours of nonstop madness! IMO...J00F owned! It was even better than his killer set at Nation last August! My jaw dropped when I heard J00F drop Prodigy - Voodoo People! What a great surprise! I love DJs such as J00F, who spin sets that take you to another world! The sound was intense...it kicked my ass! Anyone who still thinks trance is cheesy must listen to J00F...they will be proven wrong! If there's one DJ who should be back in DC soon...it's J00F!
After J00F's set, I didn't have much energy left to dance for Astral Projection. I'm glad I finally got to see Astral Projection! I only missed the first couple of tracks. I'd only heard a few songs from AP on mix CDs...I wasn't disappointed by their sound and performance! I'm definitely interesting in tracking down and getting some AP CDs.
Seeing John '00' Fleming and Astral Projection in the same night was a mindblowing experience! IMO...it was better than the first Konvokation party in May!
Last but not least...shoutouts to all the TAs and Glow fiends that made for an amazing night: Addictedto1982, King Solara, Carolina, Robin, Steve, Bo, Josy, Brian (glad you could make it after all!), Skytrancegirl, beema, Mebot (glad you enjoyed the Stoli Ohranj!), PvDKid, WithinYOU, IntoMe, Erin and Aaron, biodigit and his cousins...great seeing you all! Sorry if I forgot anyone!

The sond system wasn't bad at but whats in od is that sometimes the speakers go off on its own. I seen the speakers screw up for DJ Icey,Empath and Astral Projection. But otherwise there like 8 out of 10. |

Well heres my late review guys
Hahahaha on you gys because I was the only who knew Vtec Junkie was coming. Damn not even sure what time I got to the club all I know is it was still early. I was kinda of surpised on homw many people actully should up. As for TA's now that was great, kool it was another TA/Glowheads envasion. Well as for the night I really had a kick ass time even thought I was fockin wasted :toothless . None the less John 00 Fleming is right on. My favortie track of the night was this track with some female vocals choppped up ,did anyone catch it was like his 3rd or 4th song, now that sounded hot.He was spinning alot of more underground track. It seems everyone knew about Prodigy - Voodoo People funny I thought Bemma told it was Blue People :p
As for Astral Projection they did put down a very Solid set. In the middle there speakers died. Cubik needs to fix there ,this is like the third time already I seen this happen lol. Well I give this night a 10/10 since everyone there well almost.

| i had a pretty fun night. the music was doing me in. just non-stop energy, i couldnt dance for more than 15 mins at a time. maybe cuz i was TOTALLY sober that night. but i still had a fun time dancing, sall good. had to leave early due to my softball tournament the next morning; 3-0 bitches!!!! glad to see all who i saw. gee, the next time we will all prolly meet is at the new glow baby!! cant wait. |
