My brother has down syndrome...which is what the dude in the red has.
You guys may think a picture like that is funny....but you're only laughing at it cuz they are mentally challenged. If it were a bunch of regular peeps, you'd be like "ok dumb pic of people dressed in outfits", but no....it's hilarious cuz they are "not normal"...or of "lesser capabilities"
thats just dumb. I got into a load of fights cuz of peeps making fun of my brother...and hell i got my ass kicked a lot too.
But id do it again to protect him cuz he didnt know they were in around with him....
Im not gonna bitch at those who posted it or whatever, but there is another side of the story to it when you're the one who has to walk in the in mall while all these people stare at yer bro cuz he's different.

| case in point. I knew someone with down syndrome as well, and once you deal with and meet someone like that, these stupid pictures and jokes just aren’t funny any more. I am guilty of laughing at stuff like that in the past, and it was harmless. but like I said, after you meet someone with it, your attitude changes. and if it doesn’t, well then you’re just a piece of . |

Granted, I'd be a liar if I said that the fact that they all are mentally challenged didn't add to the overall ridiculous look, but the main reason I laugh at that pic is cos of the context of the pic itself and the plain awful costumes.
Despite your bad experiences regarding this matter I don't think you should be so quick to judge people's reactions. |
