man the age of 16 is the age of park parties, house parties, and general mischief making, i cant do any of that now, i gotta worry about saving for a new car, paying pills, i mean bills ... well bills and then pills... then theres all this called responsibility meaning your parents WILL disown you if you do something stupid, you cant blame it on immaturity, also you gotta worry about your education coz you're paying for the ing thing

Are you nuts? School is the best time to take drugs. It's much easier to skip out on a class and make your work up later rather than coming in a few hours late to your job. And if you can't manage to do school and drugs at the same time than you probably shouldn't do drugs to begin with. |

Crappy age my ass!
I'd give my left arm to be 16 forever! Back in the day where I could sit around and watch TV for 6 hours straight, all because I literally had nothing left to do with my time. Back in the day when I could sleep in 'till noon all summer. Back when I had no worries other than making sure my stupid homework was done, and that I got up in time the next morning for school.
Wanna trade places? I work 7-10 hours a day, 6 days a week. I don't get regular weekends, so I hardly see my friends anymore, and I am always worrying about my bills, rent, and when I will get the chance to go to the gad damned grocery store so I can have some real food in the house. I always cook for myself (when I am not eating fast-food garbage), and I have to do all my own laundry and cleaning too.
That's life after highschool. Soon I will be throwing in more school, plus all the responsibilities of life I deal with now. It's reality, so enjoy being able to do all for now, because once you're an adult, there is no turning back. You will have to deal with it for the rest of your life. And believe me, it ain't all it's cracked up to be. |

i wanna trade places!
im 19 y/o
i work 9.5 hours a day, 5 days a week, and my salary is 11% of minimum wage (not above minimum wage, OUT OF minimum wage).
+ i dont get to go home 3 nights per month.
and if im late to work too often, i get the added bonus of going to prison!
serving in the IDF is so much fun!! especially when you dont have a choice in the matter!! :rolleyes:
(i do realize there are people in worst off situations though...) |
