Very odd. I was able to right click when I used IE. From Mozilla(netscape), if I saved the link and added the www. it opened a stream, butI couldn't save from there. Anyway, I am downloading it now.

most sites these days aren't designed (yet) with these new browsers in mind. I know my site i developed wasn't designed with mozilla and firefox, etc. in mind.

that's probably the problem =)

use netscape or ie.

Waited all night for my 56k to DL this set :)

I really enjoyed this mix a lot. Now it's time for my review. There was great beatmatching & harmonic mixing, but pretty simplistic transitions, nothing that made me go "ooooo that was good!" but it displayed above average technical mixing skills. By the way there were definetly some transitions that were GOLDEN, but the majority were just average for me. The flow was great, nice beautiful uplifting trance, but when you got towards the end the mood shifted from uplifting to dark which didn't really throw off the mix but it didn't really make it what it could have been. Track selection was EXCELLENT though. This is one of the first mixes in a long time that I have liked the majority of all the songs selected. My favorite section of the mix definetly has to be from Kamaya Painters - "Far From Over" all the way through Tonomari & Tommy Pi - "C-Sharp 2004 (Mike Shiver Remix)" which is PURE BEAUTIFUL CLASSY MIXING!!!!! After that you get into a harder vibe, with a heavier beat and more bass, which throws me off the beautiful track the mix was going with but none-the-less it was fine. One of my favorite tracks of 2004 is Mark Norman - "Phantom Manor" BUT this song TOTALLY does NOT belong in this mix IMO, it quite threw me off to hear this come in. The transition into it was fine but the vibe the whole mix was setting up was not to go into this type of song IMO. Bad choice, IMO...but oh well. Overall there were a lot of strong points and some weak points, but overall I think that this mix shows me and everyone else that you are a DJ that's going to do very well :) Keep it up, I'm tapping my fingers already waiting for another mix from you. Thanx for sharing it with us!!!

Thanks for the feedback mate, really appreciated.

Regarding the Phantom Manor inclusion, I just thought it fitted quite well after the Odyssey track...and I thought the mix needed to take a new direction before finishing with two massive trancers.

but once again thanks for the comments.

My radio show is on www.basicbeats.net this Sunday 9-11pm
Also featuring a 1 hour guest mix.

cheers

James
