ok, after going to ultra spin 5, i am SOOOO pumped to go to 6. unfortunatly the lineup isn't as familiar to me as it was for saturday...marco v and push were an incredible combination to see together...i want to know what to except from the groups playing at ultra spin 6???
i've heard some scumfrog remix's, but what type of music can i expect to hear from him???
pete tong i know is the radio host on bbc radio 1. i saw a lot of house in his sets, is this the style he plays the most???
i've heard of danny howells, but don't know anything about him
and i have no clue with the others?!? :conf:
any help would be appreciated, cause i'd like to know what to expect two weeks from now ;) |

Get to know the scumfrog. He's the man, really chunky NY house with a breaky kinda feel at times. He kicked ass last time he was here at boa, and anyone will tell you we're all excited to get him back.
Danny Howells, was here last summer and put on a good show. Played deep funky progressive with some tribal, and got even a little bit into the trance at the very end.
This event won't be nearly as trancey as the last one which suits me just fine. |

Well, if it was me, I'd do it. I've missed Scumfrog twice already. Once when he was at Boa. There's no way I'm missing him again. |

now now......I've never seen mark oliver and NOT enjoyed myself. he always keeps the crowd pumped. in fact, the only time that he's ever dissappointed me is when he didn't show up at Viva that one time when nu nrg played, and that was only cuz i was looking forward to seeing him. Difference of opinion I guess. But as for mark oliver, everytime I see him DJ I just can't seem to have respect for him because all his tracks are just the songs he's ripped off the latest essential mix tracklistings oor other decent mix shows. Do something original mr. oliver!!! Go digging for new vinyls rather than taking a shopping list to the record store!!! And lose that damn english accent! It doesn't automatically give you status as a DJ! |
