Interesting post Pink, funny you mention this because I went out with a stripper this past summer, not for too long though. She wasn't working this summer but she had in the past. Just to make sure, we're talking about full stripping. First off, it's not immoral or evil, according to the definition of immoral in my opinion AND it is a way to make a living no doubt about that.... BUT ONLY FOR SOME PEOPLE. You guys (in general) cannot act as if a female is FORCED into stripping because of money reasons, not in this country at least where the unemployment rate is usually below 10%. In poorer countries, third-world even, some women do have to strip in order to survive and make money because there are NO other jobs, and that is understandable. But for a girl to strip in the USA, then there is something in that girl's life that's not right. Stripping in front of other guys can be done for quite a few reasons, lack of attention, the girl maybe had been abused, insecurity, etc... MY OPINION: "Normal" girls do not strip in America, not for money at least. Money is secondary, but girls that do strip have alterior motives. Strippers that say "Yeah I do it for the money" is bull in my opinion. There are TONS of other jobs out there they could do. Why don't they go into prostitution? Tons more money there. This girl I went out with was very unstable, insecure but outgoing, and I could tell that she has lots of "baggage" in her life. I kinda fell for her, and it didn't end up working out. The most important thing I learned is not to pursue a relationship with a girl carrying "baggage" and strippers in the America have lots of it. I have been to a few strip clubs, and I do have fun, but what they do is all on them.

I've been to a strip club a few times, and I've even gotten lap-dances :)

| I don't think I would feel comfortable with my girlfriend being a stripper. I think that her body is something beautiful and should only be shared with me, not shown for all men to see. and about strippers being gold diggers, i agree 100%... i dont care if they do come sit on your lap and talk to you before asking for a lapdance... because in the end, they're gonna leave if you dont have money for them |

well, i dont think its really immoral for girls to strip, however i think it can be kinda degrading. i've been to stip clubs a few times, i'll admit they weren't the classy ones, but i ended up just feeling sorry for them cos they seemed so unhappy and uncomfortable. im sure this isn't the case all the time, but it was at this place. they are up there totally exposed with like 20 guys just sitting there "rating" them, blurting out rude comments, and laughing. ive also seen them up there having fun too sometimes, so as long as they are enjoying themselves i guess its ok. what about duo's, anybody seen these? they seem to have fun.

I used to practically live ina strip club... male dancers though, my sister knew some of the guys there.. and they always gotta us in for free.. they were never hard though,they said it was kinda hard to move.so i dont know what male dancer does that.
well anyways about the subject..
i woudlnt strip...i personally think that a girl that does that to herself. doesnt have any pride of herself.. or any sort of respect for her body.. the woman's body is beautiful.. you are right.. but that is why it should kept to only her and her boyfriend...
besides i know some strippers.. they only got the body but their brains are so retarted.. they work as strippers because they arent smart enough to go get a real job.. so it is easier for them just to take their clothes offI know two strippers who told me this. they said that they go trough a lot of , like they have to sleep with a lot of guys in order to keep the job or they give the job to someone else.. and they give them money to get their boobs done...one of them always tells my sister (cause they are friend) that she wished she never startd doing, but they have a contract.

On the contrary.
I'm a college student and there's this girl who studies Computer Science with me, at the same university. A very intelligent girl and a good student. I was quite surprised to learn that she works part-time at a strip club nearby. She earns her money for college this way. :p

| Personally I have no problem with the whole stipping thing. I dated a male stipper, and one of my best friends from college became one. She didn't have enough money to go back to school, so if she wanted to go back, she had to make the moeny over the summer. To do this, she went in for amature night, and ended up getting a job. Obviously, she doesn't want to make this her career, but for the time being it has kept her in school and given her LOTS of play money. |
