how much would these be worth 2nd hand?
[ groovypants ]
I own one :tongue2

Considering it's worth just about $600 new, second-hand should be around $400 ? :conf:
Antistatic
You'd be lucky to get $200 if you sell it to a reseller. If you're selling it privately you can usually get around half of what you paid for it depending on its condition.

im considering buying one.

and the person is saying 500 bux

so ill tell 'im he's dreamin!!!

[groovypants] are they any good? and wahts the fx unit and bpm counters like?
Virginia_L
Getting sick of the DJM300 Soups?
:D
00soups00
not really that.

btu some FX would be nice
and my volume fader on channel one is broke :(
[ groovypants ]
wow, $500... :(

Not too sure about BPM counters as I don't use it nor do I even know how to...? The round light just blinks to the beat I suppose? But it never seems to be on time [???]

FX-unit seems to be basic - very entry level stuff but dirty fun. Never used an advanced FX processor before but the problem with the Numarks is that when applying effects @ peak levels, the sound becomes very artificial and tacky - not as natural as I would hope.

In terms of overall sound, I find it quite flat and tight.

so not really worth upgrading from Pioneer DJM 300 im guessing..
even with a broken volume knob :)

does it have a seperate volume control for each channel for the headphone cue part??
[ groovypants ]
Not really... for the headphones you have a complete X-fader with a master volume... so no vertical channel-faders dedicated for the HPs [if thats what you're referring to?]
00soups00
so that means you can have one channel coming into the headphones louder then the other, without altering the main output of that channel???

[ groovypants ]
Oh indeed... :)

Is'nt that feature standard on all mixers?
OzTiësto
Not all...some vestax mixers don't have cue adjustment abilities and s me to tears, unless you're mixing with good monitors it can be a bitch.
