I've recently fallen in love with the Leama & Moor Remix (who in their right mind hasn't?), but I was watching TV just now, and a Subway (sandwich shop) commercial came on, and I'm like "This sounds vaguely familiar."
Sure enough, it was Brian Eno - An Ending (Ascent)
God's playing tricks on me again |

| Haha... that's hilarious. Thanks for sharing that -- so SUBWAY uses it now? Oh wow, it's gonna be "The New Pachelbel Canon" after being revived after all these years. |

listen i dont mena to have a go, but that really isnt a big deal to the people that live in europe. dance music is used everywhere on everyhting and to create a thread about a commercial having some EDM in it seems kinda of trivial.
It's very very common, and it really isnt anythng special to us that get it every day. it's like me posting that we can now get super size in mcdonalds, i.e. nohting new to you american's. there just seems to be a few too many 'OMG u never guess what i heard at my gym today' threads. just my opinion... im sure some are for and against what i've said.
Anyway Brain Eno's tune is internationally recognised, like barbers adagio etc etc, these are original masterpieces from years ago, it's not even like it was a pure 100% edm tune.
etc etc etc

actually Brian Eno's piece isn't original(atleast i don't think)... there was track i actually heard on Music Choice, that sounded exactly like Brian's but it was more fluffy and the release date on it was 2001... I wish i wrote it down now and i think i know what commercial you are talking about.
I believe the title was like
? - Golden ???
any else know what i'm talking about? |

| someone around these forums was saying brian eno's track is from 89 or something very old like that. so that "fluffy mix" must be another remix |
|

| Floorfiller |
| brian eno's original version was from 1983 on the apollo atmospheres and soundtracks cd/lp |

| ok, but when i turned around to see what was playing it def. didn't say brian eno, so maybe the one i saw just sampled it. thx for the clarification. |
