11. Liverpool (Owen, Cisse, Baros, Pongolle)

how can people be voting for this strike force as the best in the country?

Owen? nothing special in my opinion.

Baros? ive heard people saying a world class striker? this is al down to Euro 2004? we will wait and see.

Cisse, unproven in the premiership.

Pongolle is a nobody.

Youve got ruud van horse face who cant score outside the box.

Alan smith never gets the amount of goals as what shearer and henry get and he was leeds main striker.

Arsenal have class and have the options, its all down to how reyes performs this season.

I voted for newcastle obviously, mr consistent shearer and with kluivert, its the best strike force in the country.

Shearer = best english striker in the world. Tell me somebody else who scores over 20 goals a season? nobody

I agree on Baros, a few good games feeding off excellent service in a Czech side on excellent form do not suddenly make him a world class striker. He's shown potential in the Premiership but has never proved himself. I'd certainly rather have Bellamy, even despite his injury record.

Pongolle wouldn't get in the top 4 strikers of Newcastle, Arsenal, Chelsea or Man Utd, yet he is Liverpool's 4th choice striker.

I'm amazed that Chelsea are not leading this poll. I think if you do this poll again at Christmas it'll look a lot different.

He was injured most of the season, like Baros. Kluivert's minutes played to goals scored ratio was nevertheless good. 8 goals in 11 starts, or if you add on the sub appearances it adds up to less than 14 games worth of football. I'm confident he'll answer his critics on the field.

I say HENRY --> Arsenal!

Chelsea has many good strikers, but no Henry!
Man Utd. only Van Nistelrooy (he scores never outside of the box)
Liverpool's Owen was poor during Euro 2004 and Baros was impressive, we will see next season...
Newcastle's attackers Kluivert - Shearer are both over their top!

well if you look at it based on last years stats then arsenal should win by a mile

dont understand why everyone is still rating chelski
mutu and crespo had veyr little contribution overall and drogba could very well beat the same path

Reports say horseface ruud out for a month (Community Shield, UEFA C/L Qualifiers, and 3 PL Matches).
