OK folks, well after introducing myself, i received seven or eight pms within half an hour that were very friendly.
Perhaps the most friendly was Mr Pink......well, after exchanging PMs a couple of times, he invited me onto msn.

Just to clarify, i did encourage Mr Pink quite a bit through PMs, so he deserves a bit of slack......
I don't see why the thread would get locked though, since i've seen many threads before with msn or irc conversations on it. There wasn't really anything gratuitous in it.
