| Hey all I am new here and did not know where to say anything about myself so here I go. I am 22 years old and have loved techno, trance, house, etc for a very long time. I used to be all about rap, but I now realize that this music is the only thing I enjoy. I have heard enough about rims and escallades. I hope I don't sound like some dumb ass but what is up with all the negativeity surrounding our music? It might be just me but this music puts me in another mindset. Um, I guess that is it, I hope that you guys give me a good welcome. |

It's not just you, it puts most people in a different mindset. I imagine it's because it has more of a melodic emphasis than a lyrical emphasis - something you feel as opposed to something you think about. |

YO TechnoSpeed. Welcome here... well hey, you can like your Electronic Dance Music and your Rap. It's what I do, anyway... of course you do know not all rap is like that either. Wherever you go you will find dissenting opinions, some of them expressed better than others -- just focus on what's positive, fun, and relevant to you and share your passion for it with others. That's how I like to put it.
