little javascript help please

hey people im having a little trouble with my javscripting for rollovers. ive done it before but cant remember how and cant find any examples....anyhoo here is what i want.
i want to have 4 buttons (not links) on the page and when you roll over a button a selection of pictures that are links apear in a box. each button will have a diff set of link pics. obviously the pics will have to remain when the cursor is off again so the links can be pressed.
incase im as crap at explaining myself as i think ive drawn some nice pics.
