| je viens d'écouter un A state of trance de cette semaine.... ca faisait longtemps....mais pourtant ya tellement rien de nouveau je trouve ca vraiment poche.....on dirait que c comme en 2002 quand ils remixaient tous des tounes classiques.... ca stagne cette année....pu de fraicheur ....:eek: |

ASOT a perdu toute sa splendeur de ses debuts !!! Armin a perdu la flamme! You can feel that he's lost the plot :| Yeah, I used to worship the guy... but let's face it... he has become a Tiesto #2...
The work he put in in his label, trying to find new tunes... he lost the magic of his livesets/radio show... remember 2 years ago, when he was starting his show on ID-T... he played old + new tunes, now it's only new tunes which i hate 19 out of 20 ... He's all about "look at me i play new tunes even if they're not that good", i think Mr Van Buuren is a sellout, just like some of the big jocks, but i wont say more names because I know I will get flammed to death!
Don't get me started on Mr Schulz.. that big american wanker.. if it wasn't for Armin, he'd be releasing nothing ! He even found a little body named Evelation to make tunes for him so he can put his name on the record... And his remixing skills are too, listen to 5 of his remixes... you'll think it's the same track.
Some older producers are making a comeback with a fresh new sound: Lange, Thrillseekers and Pulser ! Those guys are blending old+new feelings to their tracks, which i think is the way to save trance, because it's dying since 2000 :S
Anyhow, stop worshiping big jocks only because of their names, it's like most of the ppl have been brainwashed! Don't have the "if it's not on ASOT it's crap" mentality.

I have to disagree with you on this one man, I love listening to GDJB, I"ve heard some of his remixes and I love em, his remix of You won't see me cry (dresden and schultz) remix is sick. And how do you know he has body called elevation that does all his for him? Are you personal friends with either? If you produce music then you'll know that some people produce better in pairs than singly. I think his radio show is awesome, and is great at bringing in guests that don't normally get alot of exposure, most recently smith & pledger played and it was an awesome set! |

| And as far as people flaming Armin for his radio show for just playing the newest tunes (good or not), ITS THE WHOLE POINT OF HIS SHOW. A STATE OF TRANCE!!! half of every show is "NEWEST TUNES SELECTED!" He doesn't actually play alot of these songs when he's live because he knows most won't sound good to dance to (too many long breakdowns etc.,) however they sound great when you're just relaxing at your computer! Besides Axel, I'm looking at your recent tracklist, most of those have been caned by Armin on ASOT or elsewhere! |

I know there are some, i also said that i liked "some" tunes in his show, which i end up playing myself. I must admit, i listened to the last Mr Schulz Radio Show only to hear The Thrillseekers and Lange, and yes Smith & Pledger owns, i have some records from them.
One of the best radio show around I think, is the Above & Beyond one on Radio 1. They don't play boring tramce. |

ok je suis pas regulierement le asot, mais je vois pas de mal a ce qu'un dj ne joue que le nouveau stock a chaque semaine.
j'aurais surement pas envi d'entendre seven cities, communication et atrc a cahque semaine meme si c'est des bombes.
