So....as a minor game, I thought maybe I would start a thread with our own definitions of miscellaneous terms frequently used on this board.
I got the idea from my postings in the new "pictar" thread last evening.
My first one, which has been submitted to www.urbandictionary.com and should be listed on there any time is (This is the text of the urbandictionary entry btw):

It is an acronymn of broken English.
It says in long form:
"Oh My God! Hi to you!"
In general it is a term used by adolescent males with raging hormones who see a picture of a physically attractive woman and think that that they will get somewhere by complementing them in such a fashion.
A "woman" posts a picture on, say, the TranceAddict.com forums, suddenly 40 young males quote the post with the pic and say "OMGHI2U!!!!!" |

Long Form : In Before The Lock
Meaning : You have posted inside a thread that is expected to be closed by a moderator in a short amount of time.
EDIT::
Pic or STFU
Long Form : Show me a picture, or Shut the F*ck Up
Meaning : Usually a response to another posts description that could be vague, but interesting. So you ask for a pic to be shown, or that that person not even say anything.
EXAMPLE::
My dog has 6 legs.
What!?!?! Pic or STFU!!! |
