I don't normally comment on trance djs.. but seriously.. should we really be *that* saddened by this news??
I mean.. back in February when we were graced with Josh Gabriel's presence, he didn't even seem to have the courtesy to stay sober during his set. (I know Richie & Sven have sinned.. but they've redeemed themselves since.. hehe)
The laptop mixing was also a bit *geigh* in my opinion.. but whateva.. I realize they aren't the only ones doing this. |

Never EVER call Gabriel and Dresden trance DJs. :whip: :whip: :whip:
Thats almost as bad as calling Ben Sims a house DJ. :p |

OMG!! my most humble apology... haha.. see, I'm out of the loop! ;)
As for them being 'producers-on-top-of-the-world' argument.. No doubt they are a bigger draw as a result, but there are plenty of acts that I consider to be producers first/djs second.. and if they can't hold their own on the dex (or err.. laptop :P ) then I'd rather see DJ's that just mix G&D's tracks instead.. but that's just me.
Marco Bailey is a good example.. I can do without seeing him spin again, his mixing can be weak, productions are usually solid though! |

When I saw G&D in Vancouver their set didn't impress me all that much.. not much energy to it even though I do like some G&D tracks. I just think that all the pop song remixes they do are pretty lame.
Not terribly disappointed by this news. |
