My trance costs:
For me, well, probably 10% of my hearing at least.
A few brain cells.
Good relationships with my neighbours.
Considerable amount of maintenance time spent on relationships.
and probably $50 to $100 a week in records. |

Ability to make new friends :( Unfortunately, not very people listen to trance.
I wish I could go back to listening to rock, then people would like me!

Hearing is precious :D. Hearing protection is underrated :(.
Supposedly Thomas Bangalter of Daft Punk fame wants to stop DJing because the noise levels are progressively ruining his hearing. |

Sounds like he needs to start mixing in phones only, and buy a pair with excellent isolation.:D |

| Eh, this gets hard to calculate if you start factoring in opportunity costs as well. |
