this is so sad i'm spinning this kinda music and i'm sober...but here's my tracklisting so far (not broadcasting, last time i tried my internet died for a week)
but still, this might be good for a laugh
kamasutra - where is the love (started as a normal set)
sandy rivera and jose burgos - under the counter (original mix) still normal, though wasn't a good transition
intro to (R)evolution, doesn't say who its by but on giant step records, not a great mix either
chris lum and jay-j - truly amazing, another ty mix, i'm getting pissed at myself, debating what to spin next
50 cent - wangsta unreleased edit - i give up, i mix into it by scratching cause i don't wanna bother trying to beatmatch this mess of a track selection
nappy roots - po' folk, i think hey maybe i can turn it into a rap set
jam&spoon feat plavka - kaleidoscope skies, i think hey this has some rap in it
and i mean hell, it starts with the guitar part from a john mellencamp song, gotta be cool. more scratching
justin timberlake - like i love you (album version) i figured my sound had been far too underground for the masses as of yet so i threw in some cheese
ya know, to please the crowd
movin melodies - fiesta conga '98
throwin in a lil more cheese, building up the set more before i throw the h00j ch00ns. nothing pumps up a crowd like double speed vocals
yes - owner of a lonely heart
now i start to throw out a ch00n or two, knocking everyone clear off their feet
who was expecting distortion guitar and stupid 80's vocals? no one, making it all the more memorable when everyone's telling their friends how awesome i am
and now, the biggest song yet, although its a teaser compared to the closer
tchaikovsky - 1812 overture
holy mother of god!:eyes: there's nothing quite like dancing to the rhythm of cannonfire and strings
beck - where its at (edit)
a lil makeshift breakdown, give everyone a bit of time to rest after all that dancing they surely did during the 1812 overture
now we throw the final two songs at them...give them what they want
ian van dahl - reason (extended mix)
sweet jesus on a stick is all i have to say about this one
and the theme of thix mix all along has been love and unity so here's one take on it i thought everyone could enjoy
atmosphere - you lucy
being a big name dj i figure i should appeal to everyone so all the sore losers not dancing to reason should be able to enjoy this on
everyone leaves happy
and in case everyone didn't leave happy, i ended it by playing an excerpt from dust in the wind on my guitar
i'll try to post it soon |
