as you can tell im a huge suby fan yet i do not own one. i will soon thats a promise...im looking at sti05 crystal grey or aspen white. but if life changes and budget allows i'd drop suby in a heartbeat for an s4 sorry suby i still love you though! |
Before I continue I would like to say it's nice talking to another gear head!;)
I got the top mount BOV because I have not upgraded the intercooler yet. I am still in the early stages of modifying my car. A pillar not center(yes two for the necter is a waste). Rotors, calipers, goodrich break lines. I am doing the brakes first. This is not the final brake upgrade. When I am closer to my goal, approx. 600hp I will upgrade to full on race brakes. Either Brembo or Alcon. The suspension is going on next, but I found a suspension I like more than th Tein system. Praxis! It a fully adjustable air suspension. Three levels: stock, 1" lower in sport and 1" lower in track. This way I can raise and lower the car on the fly based on the terrain. When I do the suspension I will do everything. Suspension, sway bars, camber, struts, and anything thing else that I can think of at that moment that I can afford. |

obvious about the BOV, i was asking why didnt u save the injen and bov and go with FMIC? personally i think TMIC doesnt generate a cool enough environment be it that there is a hood scoop...im glad ur into suby's lols i've been loving the STI for some time now...however it looks like the evo MR is some dope competition for the STi wr1...supposedly the MR beat the STi wr1 (ice blue prodrive spec) in an auto-x. but then again EVO'S look like riced out civics so i feel bad for all evo lovers. im not hating on them, i'd take one if they was free, but subaru has the most unique look then any car out there that isnt driven by everyone.
I looked into Praxis but have not read up enough about it. Remember all this info i've learned about this car is PRE-OWNED. I dont even own one yet, but im getting one no matter what anyone says. unless the s4 comes into sight HAHAH. but nonetheless you have some nice tuning done. Where do you live? Do you have any dyno charts? the UTEC is a nice complement to all ur modifications. |
