After hearing Behrouz's Essential Mix, I am thinking of going to see him at Cielo on August 5th. Has anybody been to the club? What kind of crowd should I expect? What's the dress code?

Cielo is very nice. Intimate space. No dress code.
Crowd is mixed.

i went to cielo on sunday night. was an awesome little club! i liked it, but i didn't get to see the lights that dan was telling me about. also didn't see the dj i went for because i needed to get home. oh well. next time i guess.

armandzadza, it's time to EDUCATE YOURSELF...
Cielo is on Little West 12th St. in the meatpacking district of Manhattan. It's a midsize dance club with funktion 1 speakers strategically placed so that they are centered to the dancefloor and loud enough to enjoy there while low enough to have a convo behind them. there are couches galore, an outside terrace to blacken your lungs, and a music first attitude. however, the best thing about it are the lights which run across the walls. so an amazing buildup can become exponentially greater with lights supporting it, not even to mention the fact that there are great lights on the dancefloor ceiling to begin with..
why dont you just go and see for yourself why cielo has won so many awards for best nightclub in america... |
