All iPods can be used with a PC that has a firewire port as far as I know.
The first generation "pc" iPods were just ones that came with a special version of Musicmatch that sched with them.
Hook it up and see if iTunes recognizes it.....I am pretty certain it will work.

| I have a 4-point FireWire input on my comp as to the 6-point FireWire cable that comes with the Ipod. They gave me a little converter thingy though. Maybe get one of those if that's the prob. |

You won't be able to charge the iPod through a 4 pin port on your computer. The 5th and 6th pins on a standard 1394 connection are the power leads.
But just for transferring data, a 4 pin port is all you need.

| As Mr. Squirrel said, it should work with iTunes. The Mac/PC only iPod business is bunk IMO. |
