I agree that John 00 had a freat set. But for set of the weekend I would have to say that Doctor Trance and OS/2 had the best set, laying out anthems from the past 10 years. |
anthems are anthems. what john did was skilful djing at its best. he just went to work and ing rocked it. |

When I spoke to him before his set @ WEMF - he sounded ~REALLY~ juiced-up about Boa. |
awww... how did you get to talk to him?
they shut off the stage to the gold bands on Saturday night, and later, they banned us from the pit too....
grrrr... |

J00F friggin blew my mind!!! After that set, my love for psy/prog-psy trance is renewed!
The whole expereience with J00F was brilliant - amazing track selection, perfect order, flawless mixing - this was easily one of my favorite DJ sets ever.
I'm going to have to try and swing some plans so I can see him @ Boa. When I spoke to him before his set @ WEMF - he sounded ~REALLY~ juiced-up about Boa. |
Your post reassured I am making the right decision in going to see him at BOA over the Docks party.
I haven't missed him when he's been in the city and don't plan on it. |

Agreed 100%
I have never heard a set even that good from Jon 00 Fleming. Even as amazing as he was at Viva last year, this set blew it out of the water.
|
So far my favorite set from him was the one he did last October @ Sound Emporium, which next to no TA's showed up... think there was about 5 tops, and he was uningbelievable!
Funny thing is is that I remember looking at all the message boards before WEMF and I kept saying how underrated JOOF is and that he the DJ to be looking forward to and look what happend, Joof Destroyed the Place!!! He did a great job on building his set with that Progressive Psy sound that went somewhere rather then keeping it at the same level the whole time. His set made my weekend!
One thing wiht JOOF is that he also seems to be one of the least selfish dj's... he has put out close to 10 tracks (including remixes) since last Fall, which are all wicked too, and at his performance he didn't even play one of them. He played 1 track that he remixed that should be out soon, but that's it. Class act for sure, and I'll be there next weekend to catch another mind-blowing set.
