Well seeing as the US Track teams Maurice Greene, Justin Gatlin, and Shawn Crawford all finished their 100M dash race with in .02 secs of eachother. I think the USATF(m) should be a formidable opponent in Athens.

For the womans side it doesnt look so great as Marion Jones did not qualify for the USATF(f). So there could be mixed results in Athens as her successor LaTasha Colander

The USAST may fare well these up coming weeks as Micheal Phelps makes a new world record in the 400 IM @ 4:08.41

Natalie Coughlin seems to be owning in the womans side of things as she is the World record-holder in 100m back (first woman under one minute - 59.58)

Dutch swimmers are gonna rock your socks. Same with hockey, and same with cycling (for the women anyway). Judo, same.

Lol, as long as you guys can't pronounce Pieter van den Hoogenband, he'll whoop anybody's ass.

As for the women, Inge de Bruijn will do the same :p

The US has hopes? I thought most of it was dashed by the drug testing :stongue:. You know one of them will test positive for something, meanwhile Marion Jones will be watched like a hawk:haha:

Canada's biggest hopefuls are in rowing, which we tend to dominate every olympics and felicien in hurdles, besides that, the olympics is a disaster but we have no Ben Johnson to laugh at this year.

i want the guy who's gonna come in with our flag to die, he's a quebecer, who says 'i don't compete for canada, i compete for myself', he also supported the canada/quebec separation when ever that happend.

Ana Guevara in the 400m, Fernando Platas in Diving, (Maybe) Soraya Jimenez in liftweighting, Bernardo Segura and Noe Hernandez in Atlethism, Christian Bejarano in Boxing, Belem Guerrero and Nancy Contreras in Cyclism and Victor Estrada in Tae Kwon Do...

I thought that england were the dominant country at rowing over the past 5/10 yrs, well at least for the men..?
