removing stickers

I just bought some more albums from my list:
Goldfrapp - Blackcherry :)
FC Kahuna - Machine Says Yes :)
Jack Johnson - On and On :)
excellent stuff. I knew i'd get the chance to buy some good albums sooner or later.

anyway, back on topic....
I peeled the stickers of the covers but it left that behind that stays when the sticker has been on for ages.
has anybody had experience with removing that ?
I'd prbably be better off finding another case but I might as well learn how to remove this stuff.

If I remember correctly from past experience, rubbing-alcohol works just fine.
