Aight after last night and the amazing show he put on how would you guys feel about a monthly or bi monthly residency for Marco V at guv. I know it isnt really Guv style to have resident DJ's other than Mark Oliver but it would be nice, maybe a certain TOTA can suggest that idea if we get enough people here to support the idea.

He's coming back soon ... have no fear. Yeah he did play such a good set last night.

I know he is coming back soon, but lets get him here on a regular basis.

PS Whats going on with this rumour about Charles?

residencies are always a bad idea (except for locals).

I agree ... too much of something too good, is not good

I think you're barking up the wrong tree. I don't remember any DJ outside of mark oliver being a resident for the guv. They bring in such diverse talent on such a regular basis that bi-monthly or quarterly residencies seem to be unnecessary.

As for residencies in general, I tend to disagree with you guys. I'm more than happy with he fact other clubs have very good resident monthly bi-monthly and quarterly DJs. I really don't think seeing a lawler or a satoshi tomiie at system 4 times a year would tire me out from seeing them, quite the contrary, I think they're consistantly good performances would aid in bringing the toronto scne back to where it should be.

I fully agree Aria has bi monthly monthly residnecies with soem fairly big names and they bring in big talent consistently. It is truly the one thing Toronto is missing, not that we have it really bad but having a residency for an international DJ would totally revitalize the scene in our city.

yeah man....Oliver is Toronto , Oliver is Guv

those bi-monthly residencies are all over.

when people expect to see a dj every 2 months, its easier to find an excuse to not show up for a gig.

i think residiencies are good if the dj isn't too huge and the show can be done for cheap......i remember when deko-ze was a monthly resident in ottawa, for $7 you could go out once a month and gaurantee to have a good time....every time he played it was packed....
