damn i wish i went to that. but i wasnt into raves n pvd yet so i didnt kno about it. my friend went and he was cryin tears of joy because it was so good |

| that was actually my first time at the armory.. we got way lost and it ended up taking us 11 hours to get there. we missed the entire party, and walked in right next to pvd, just in time for his set. but let me tell you -- it was worth every bit of the drive. |

i thought his set in nov was better then the feb set, but i had a ton of fun at both.

The PVD @ summerstage set was definitely awesome, partly b/c of a lot of new tracks i heard him spin, and because most of us were totally blown away by how hard his set was. When we saw him on the 4th of july after that, i was hoping for a nice hard set like that but i figured, well the poor guy just came from Sensation,,, he's going to be ing tired, but no... he layed it down hard again. although not *quite* as hard as SS.
but that set at Roxy.... not the last time he was there, but the time before that ... between 2-6 there was just something so... emotional, for lack of a better word... and i was totally into that. i dont know if its because he played a lot of melodic vocal tracks or what. but they both rocked.
and Amiel- Lovesong. defintiely my fave song of the night. |
