It is amazing to see all those quality tunes right here on this amateur forum. I here since 2001 I guess and the overall production quality in composing, arrangement and sound professionality is awesome compared to the time when I started on TA.

:gsmile:

totally fascinated...just wanted to tell ya

Nice of you take take the time to say this :)

I think it's a shame the amateur forums (both DJ and Production) aren't given more attention on the front page and the rest of the forums.

I'd love to see a monthly "track/mix of the month" vote, with the winner getting a spot on the main page. But I think this has been suggested before and I'm sure there were good reasons against it :) I can see there could be legal issues with livesets and even remix's, but for original productions it could really help raise the profile of the forum, and the more talented producers here.

Maybe the new Unite Mix will be a good push for something like this to start. I think it's a great idea. :D

Yeah that's cool and all, but

I post a track here, second time posting a track, and the first thing I get is a really negative comment.

Yeah, producer section is a great place to find out new talents and amazing tracks, been following it for some years now. Although i must say i have been very disappointed on the quality and originality new tracks and remixes lately. Many of them are too much like done with "Armin's guide to ASOT", just too generic trancers with sounds and elements about 99% of trancers have today. Not my cup of tea.

If your feelings get hurt so easily, perhaps you should experience some more of life's cruelty before posting more.. it's not always 24/7 happy happy joy joy and especially not on TA's producer section.

Sometimes even the best producers get negative feedback. So what? Everyone gets that some day so it's not only you. TA does have alot of those mo)=#&¤)%)(%¤rs who just like to complain about everything or have an attitude problem.. don't mind them and you will be fine.

You should respect what everyone are saying whether if it is good or bad.. it's just the poster's opinion on the matter, nothing more.

i will push for it when me + nik are done, hence why we are being somewhat selective with the tracks

That comment isn't the norm, most people have more respect for the work people put into their tracks and are a lot more constructive.

As already stated you'll get positive and negative feedback (usually in one review). Some will be from those whos opinion you respect, and some from those whose you you don't.

The quality around here is ok, but not too high. I know of forums which members post broader and better quality music. There are many newbies at music here. Still, this is an international, and a fun forum. I still like being here (after half a year).

I like the idea of doing more promotion, like with the Unite mixes. Track of the month at the front page is one idea to get this part more highlighted.
