My reason track.. advice needed!

Ok here is the scoop, I've been making music for about 3 years with hardware (rm1x Cs6x Emu planet earth su700) and its one hell of an addicting and rewarding hobby...
Anyways just recently, 2 weeks ago actually, I decided to go more software and went out and bought... (really I mean bought.. :) reason. So this was sort of the first thing I worked on in it.. It is not finished, and I dont like it as much as some of my other stuff so far but Im posting it here for help and advice.. Esepcially on whether this is worth keeping working on.. (Im pretty ing sick of it...)
-First off Im monitiring with PSB's amplified through a amp, so I do not now how my mix will sound.. so maybe someone who can comment on this can give me advice on mixing.. (Im new to mixing really to).. Second just any other advice on structure etc whatever.. I really dont like where I take it after the break whatsoever. gets to... uh goofy I guess.. lol So comments here would be cool too..
If someone wants to around with it I could give you the file..
Anyways nothing specialy really most likely pretty ty compare to alot of the amazing stuff I hear in this forum.
But I will love any advice.

I was reading the forum rules... read about the songs having to be a certain bit rate or something.... I think mine is good.. if its not if someone could give me a heads up, dont want to piss people off......

I listened to it earlier, but didn't really have any advice for you, so I didn't reply.
The start was better than the end, I agree about the tune after the break. But I'm sure you could just change the melody and it would sound better.
I'm only listening on headphones at work, so I can't really comment on the mixing. |

sounds really basic
melody, bass, everything
some sounds are okay tho so with the whole song changed it might sound good. I wouldn't bother finishing it tho.. maybe keep some sounds
ps i really don't understand how you buy a closed system like reason with all that hardware..
pss i really don't understand why you buy 4 sample&synthesis synths when making trance and not one virtual analog |

because I just recently started with trance, My main thing was doing hip-hop, when I first started. And I got reason on sort of an impulse, and I can always use rewire, but I have to say I love it.. All the effects I want, the fine tuning.. I have to say I am glad I went out and got it... |

yea but
all in one box, which you only control with 1 mousebutton vs hands-on interface wins it all for me, it reminds me i'm working with a musical instrument while most here don't even know the feeling of turning that cutoff and resonance the same time.. feels great. After all it's just subjective and you can just ignore this opinion

well I made hip-hop for local underground Mc's, sort of like Anticon type stuff, so its not as bad as mainstream . But yeah I never realized how hard, (yet fun) it really is to make music till I started trance. Only thing is that sometimes I feel a bit limited, Maybe I'll try some break trance... Hmm is there stuff like that, Like stuff of involver is amazing.
Anyways yes, I just was going for getting a solid sounding(not nesecarily interesting...lol) standard rythm/ bass. even close?? (the melody really shouldnt be there.) You guys and your damn pro sounding tracks... :)

Not bad.
Should be faster imo.
Use some open high hats too and you need a riff for the buildup.
Very good strings, the lead is little empty and it should have more sounds.
Use the lead as the riff for the buildup and make a new lead.
Just my 2 cents.
