Brian and Daniel Lanois are good buddies and did a bunch of work together in the early 80s making "sounds" at Daniel's studio in Hamilton.

Together they produced some of the best U2 material to date (The Joshua Tree, Achtung Baby, Zooropa and All That You Can't Leave Behind).
