quite often a mashup or a track that will never be released (or ends up being so in a while)
like Damn Noa - Like a Prayer :( |

It's an unsigned (and unauthorized bootlegs are usually whitelabels too) and blank record which usually has just a sticker label telling the artist & track.
Like what Ian said. |

is it just me, or are there far fewer floating around than there used to be ? maybe due to mp3s etc that ppl can get hold & burn them onto cd's, but I can't remember there being any hugely hyped mashup/bootleg/white label or as many as in the past |

You are correct. The number of them has gone down from what it used to be and so the actual "value" of them isn't the same either. if you own a whitelabel it isn't that big of a deal anymore. |

| Yeah, I can remember maybe 5 years ago when they were so hard to find, and if you owned one you could really be proud of it, but at the same time, the quality of such tracks was usually great to the point where they didn't make the original tunes look bad at all |
