hehhe yeah...you can always expect about the same 5-6 people. i don't remember the first comp...but i think its been a great game over time...its a lot of fun to try and figure out the tunes... |

Yeah, it's a great amusement and plus it lets people present a selection of tunes they think are worth hearing. And then you have the opportunity to discover new music. Hopefully there will be many more contests to come. :D
And I have 14/50 so far. |

Spot on. In pretty much every competition that has been made so far I have always found at least a few new tracks to listen to that I had never heard before.
btw, I've had 7 entries so far, so it looks like this might be a good turn out afterall. Keep em coming. |

| The thing is, because the same circle of winners are making all the competitions, it's always going to be the same circle of people who will know the answers. If someone totally new won it, the samples they chose would be different, and all you guys would be screwed. |

this is bull, the fact same people win is cos they're jsut better than you. Try harder to beat them & have fun doing so (it is only a game) or just dont enter at all if you think it's run like that |

yeah...i don't think its because they all just pick the same stuff...all of the people that have been winners are all super knowledgable of the music and different genres of it. in order to win one of these....you need to know something about a lot of different types of EDM...not just prog...not just trance...not just techno... |

precisely, and in saying that, it's always the more open-minded people who win cos they explore more than one sound or more than whatevers hyped, plus a lot have considerable years experience, and as such make up the best TA's knowledge-wise on tracks |
