The irony was somewhat intended. ;)
edit: Hmm, if you dont like trance, what are your hobbies, maybe we can talk about some of those?
i dont know much about Canadian politics (Yes, I'm a yank, and properly ashamed... :( ) What's going on up north? |
Big on indie rock, always looking around for new, innovative canadian talent. The scene is waiting to bust out, some great stuff up here. I do lots of geeky stuff too like play video games and RPGs day in and day out, except when im working (50+ hours a week) or at school. The only reason why I am here is my recent interest in the genre since going to the parties like 3 years ago. I really just like to chill out and watch movies, but I guess I go to big trance/house parties to get some variety of taste and style in my life (I'm easy going and up for everything), plus I love dancing my ass off. I guess like my dad, we were both born dancers, I mix alot of styles into my house dancing, so going to these parties is a good way of having me keep up with dancing and meeting new people. You can never know enough people! Anyhow, before I write an autobiography, ill pretty much end it there. Let's see the list is this so far..
Indie Rock
RPG's and lots of video games
Movies (especially stand up comedies specials, I can sit around for days watching them back to back)

tribu, I didn't ask for all the attention, and I certainly didn't ask for all the recent flames, and dedicated threads.
I was hoping to acheive celebrity status by ways other than pissing off a handful of little whingers that cried for mommy.
BTW, Rodrico Americans aren't supposed to understand what the term irony means.
All I'm asking for is a little more maturity and a little more open mindedness to handle different opinion and a little equality so that you don't have to be on here 3 years to use bad language whilst those that have can do whatever they want. |

Any interest in Doom 3? I think the graphics look pretty good and think it will be a very fun game. High system requirements, but I will upgrade as is/if necessary. |
What are the requirements, I plan on buying this as soon as Electronic Boutique's start carrying it. I dont want to buy a new video card, but will if I have to... |

Well, this topic was getting back to normal for about four posts.
I say a lock of both threads would be nice, but that's just me. |

Much interest in Doom 3. Unfortunately, for me to play, I need to get a whole new system. |
Things aren't looking good for me either. Ive got an AMD XP2400 with the minimum requirements of 512MB of RAM. Unfortunately, I only have a Radeon 9200 and 9600 or better is required to play :( . Still, a new video card could just be quite what the doctor ordered as I'd love to have a video-in to pair with my video-out.

I also like to dance, though pretty much i use the jump around to the beat tactic and sometimes move my upper body whem the time feels right...meh, for me dancing is just getting into a groove with the music and going with it. Always something I like to do as anyone whos been to parties with me can attest (very few...where are the Ohio TAs?). I dont know much about Indie Rock, Im really into Trance and discovering progressive, breaks, acid, experimental music takes up alot of other time aside from work, school, and life's general responsibilities. As far as video games go, Ive been playing alot of Civ 3 and recently just bought manhunt. I like the premise of the game so far, but the actualgameplay, I think, is kinda dull, so I'm hoping it picks up.

Now thats irony. He speaks of maturity and open-mindess, but fails to see how much he lacks of it by making that first comment. |
