Review: Miss Kitten

Well, I can say is that I was very plesently suprised by this night.
I went into it just as something to do on a tuesday night, but was suprised by the sultry queen of electro-tech, Miss Kitten.
Electro/techno deejays are some of my favourites. Deejays such as Umek and Dave Clarke have always been close to the top for me. After tonight, I can definately say Miss Kitten has joined them. I just wish she played a longer set!
Her music is quite a bit more housey than your average electro-tech deejay, but it's also original and very catchy.
The club itself was actually a refreshing change. It was a very sexy, fashionable crowd. I wonder if this club has any other events going on, or will have other events similar to this in the future? I certainly hope so.
I hope a proper club like Boa books her so I can listen to her on a great system for longer than 2 hours.
All in all, a tuesday night well spent. |
