Well there are other means of communication on the internet that i use in my every day life as well. IRC for example is a medium that I use and I am generally more out going than I really am in real life.
People that use the internet to communicate and chat are basically split personalitied(dunno if this is a word but use it in the future :)). In real life Im not like how I portray myself on the forusm. In real life I am more of a modest perosn willing to talk to people and solve their problems.
Yes I know I've made myself out to be a complete idiot here on the TA forums. But if you are one of my real life friends you will realize that I am more calm, cool, and collective.
Some people that use forums/IRC/or other chatting programs ususally exhibit the side they wish they could expose in real life. Some that are really rude in real life like you said UWWP are really nice or have some niceness to them when conducting themselves on these mediums of communication. Its all how you look at it.
When I am typing on the computer to communicate with others I generally think I am only talking to the computer and ONLY the computer. But there is an extra set of eyes gazing upon this forum that have feelings. This topic has seemed to bring out the TA's normal side. And I am going to take these last few lines to apologize to anyone that I may have affected in the past(TorontoTrance and Anuneventrade). Thank you for listening to what I have to say and happy spinning of glowsticks in the future. |

I've met a load of people from TA and I can say that 99% of the time the people I get on with online I also get on with irl. Sure, some people are shyer than you expected, some louder :) But as a general rule if you like them online you'll like them IRL.
The only thing I hate is when people are complete wankers online then you meet them and they're
a) Nice
b) So withdrawn they can't muster up the courage to say two words to you.
If you're gonna be a **** online, be a **** IRL coz you'll get more respect from me :stongue:
I don't think I'm much different IRL than online, I probably debate less agressivly but only coz when you're debating online you've got time to sit down and word your argument properly. Also I'm pretty shy (aw :p ) but once you get to know me I'm the same person you'll find here.

im pretty much the same offline as i am on. but most of the time when ive been with fellow ukta's its been in a club, so ive been more botherd about the music than dicking around |

I have met a lot TA's in person and there are tons of you that I would still like to meet. There are some of you that I have taken the friendship off TA and have gotten to know a different side to you. ;)
I would consider the majority of the people that I take the time to chat with to be my friends.

| I feel that I am the same person that I am on here and in real life. I have met folks off of here that I expected something else and I was sorely mistaken. Most folks I have met from here are so delightful and very nice. Their are a small few that either I wish to never meet or wish I wouldn't have, but that's life. |
