Michael Moore on O'Reily Factor last night (pg. 3)

Interesting Interview. Moore is not a very good debater as he was very elusive as most politicians are, which is something he claims vehemently not to be. But none of this changes the facts. There were no weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, and I opposed the war against Iraq from the beginning. This is not the cold war anymore and frankly, removing governments for our own political gain does not sit well with me. Whatever happened to the neutrality of the pre-cold war era?

put two pompous buffoons in an interview together and what do you get?

a high school level political discussion - heck i would say an even lower level.

Moore and OReilly are both wrong in so many ways its disgusting|

I totally agree with the point Moore is trying to make 100%, but i disagree with the way he tries to (innacurately) present this view.

Sure you wouldve done that after months and months of efforts put in the movie... Anyhow I sincerly doubt he is doing it for the cash, that is beyond the point, he wants to open people's mind to a new reality. I mean get real people, you think he is the bad guy cause he's doing propaganda, but do you really think that what you dont know cant hurt you, that politic is all like what you see on CNN? The governement has become an expert in hiding what it doesnt want it's own people to know, it is even to wonder if they are working for the country or for themselves... if you doubt that, just look at all the that is happening in the US that you simply dont see anywhere else... Moore is just one of the few guys who says out loud what everybody else thinks in silence or is afraid to realise.. People who hates him just get pissed off by the truth... And dont get me wrong, I'm not saying I believe EVERYTHING he says, but lots of it dangerously makes a lot of sense... You can disagree on a few points, and yes he went pretty deep in Farenheight 911, but ffs the guy did his reasearch and he brings FACTS, not meaningless babble...if you think it's all BS and that his sole purpose is to fill people's minds with crap, well I'm afraid youre just living in your own little dreamworld and its about time you get out a little...

What scares me the most is that thanks to him and other people who arents afraid to peel a few layers, we find a lot of BS in our sweet little governement, but I dont even want to begin imagining what they successfully hide from us..

No, some of us have the balls to think for ourselves and not get brainwashed by liberal or conservative propaganda.

FACTS? The movie is propaganda....not a documentary. The movie is more fictious than fact based. if it was all facts he would not have had to take speeches out of context to use in his movie to suit his own view point. he would also not have presented points and arguments that have clearly been proven to be false.

its so funny how "Cool" it is to bash Moore these days. His film is undeniably one of the most researched works in the history of documetnary film making.

He can prove every point in his film. Orielly was not articulate at all...Moore gave him legitemate analogies that his right winged hipocracy couldnt answer.

Moore Shut Orielly's face up

Good Job!

I'm pretty sure it's been cooler to hate right-wingers for a lot longer.

"Would you send your children to die in Iraq" (or whatever he said) is the most idiotic question Michael Moore asks. It shouldn't even be a question. Everybody is the child of someone else. And by the time anyone is able to join the military they are considered adults and under their own judgement, not their parents'. They go (or should go) into the military with full knowledge that they could be sent to a war or battle to fight and maybe die, for whatever reason...useless or otherwise. Nobody is forced to join the military. Unless there were a draft, which hasn't and won't happen in this war.

O'rielly responded correctly to this by saying that he would die for his country. As would every independent adult over 18 who joins the military. It doesn't matter whether a parent would want their child to go to war or not because...it's not up to them.

"Would you let your child drive a car? He/she could easily die pointlessly by a drunk driver at any time really."
