just picked up some Capetown tracks, and they're simply magnificent! "Cinema" and "Pickup" are the best imo. Does anyone know anything abour this group/producer Capetown? there is no record of Capetown on discogs, which means they are either brand new or totally unknown :o

I guess you mean Pitstop, not Pickup, but anyway.
There's no record on discogs because it's Cape Town, not Capetown. See here: http://www.discogs.com/artist/Cape+Town
Cape Town is L-Vee (aka Airwave, etc.) and Frederico Santini, although lately it has been L-Vee alone, I believe. |

| Yeah i'm a big fan of Cape Town as well, "Stringizer/Galaxies" is another of their quality releases, go check it out, "Pitstop" IMO is their best, quality tune :eyespop: :eyespop: :eyespop: |

For the record, these are the Cape Town tracks released to date:
Skydriver (E.T. Mix) / Skydriver (Urban Jungle Mix) (2000)
Stringrizer / Galaxies (2001)
X-Tension / Chameleon (2001)
Pitstop / Touch The Skies, Talk To The Stars (2002)
Cinema / Phoenix Tears (2003)
The Pitstop and Cinema releases were written and produced by L-Vee alone, the first three by him and Santini. I'd say we're due for another Cape Town soon? :) |
