so i go to the bathroom and put my cell on the back tank of the toilet. then i foget to pick it up when i am done. about 20 minutes later someone calls me. my phone which is in vibrate mode proceeds to vibrate itself right into the open toilet. needless to say the phone no longer starts up. i know if i wait long enough it will dry out and most likely work again. however, is thre anything i can do to speed up the drying process? i cant get the phone open b/c some wierd shaped screws were used. i have it resting up against a fan right now but can you think of anything else? would an oven on really low heat (125 F) be ok? help me out here b/c there are a lot of people i need to call in the next couple days and i dont know thier phone numbers.....ahhhhhhhhh:whip: :whip: :whip: :whip: :whip: :whip:

I don't think you should put the phone in the oven. :p A while ago I had an old cell phone get knocked out of my hand and into a puddle of water. It was dead. I promptly took it apart, cleaned it off, and let it air out. The damn thing worked again.
Sorry this happened. I hope it starts working again. |

Yeah, I think hair dryer is the best idea. Just give it a good old blast at full power/heat... |
