I am experimenting with bpm studio because my cd mixer broke down. I want to add a second sound card for the monitor in bpm studio but i do not know what is compatible with Sound Blaster Live value? Every computer store that i have been to cannot shed any light on the subject.
I just want to add a cheap 20 dollar sound card to listen in the headphones and match the beats.
The computer store guys keep telling me that I have to purchase a line in card such as a Delta or Yamaha, is this true.
If anyone else is running a secondary Sound Card with Sound Blaster Live with any mixing program could lend me some assistance it would be greatly appreciated. Thank You |

| What i've heard but i don't know if it works there is a solution for this with only one soundcard. You can build your own thing, very simple. You need to have a T piece, which you need to put in your pc, the same where your speakers are in. So you have now 2 outputs, one goes to your headphone and the other to the speakers. A guy told me this would work, you have to set up something in BPM Studio to control the headphone. A while ago i also found something on the web who told the same, but they used pictures and there english was better :p maybe i can find that website again and i'll post the url here then, so you can read it and even the cheap pieces you need, costs about 3 dollar :) |

If you have a SB Live! value then you don't need another sound card... here's what you need to do:
Go to options - Audio I/O and make it that the Monitor is the rear output on your soundcard and player A and Player B are the front output...
That should work. |
