| I do, got my own equipment and all, but I don't get out often enough. Maybe when i get outta school I can get out more and perhaps invest a little in it. |

| Sly_Guy, which equipment do you own? Which fields have you played on before? |

I own a spyder compact semi-auto. Simple 9oz CO2 container, I was thinking about upgrading to nitrous but I don't have the cash for it while I'm in school. I upgraded the barrel to be one of the 'inflected curved' barrels for consistant spin, more power from the shot greater distance and accuracy. I wanted to get a connection hose so I could mount my CO2 on the base of my gun, but I haven't done that yet either. I don't like big hoppers or big CO2 tanks because all it does is serve as a bigger target in my opinion and that's why I wanna get rid of my 250 round hopper in favor of a smaller one, possibly no bigger than 50 rounds.
As for fields I've played on, I started out playing at sgt splatter's up in the north end of the city, but my friends and I quickly got sick of playing there, and we decided going to random spots in the woods at one of our cottages is the way to go. It kept all the crappy unskilled 12 year old kids out of our way. We also played at an outdoor place a couple times up north on the 'world bigges paintball field' I think it's just outside of barrie (?) and we went with a much larger group so it worked out better. Best game we ever came up with was up at my buddy's cottage, we had 3 guys on a boat, like 4 more on the beach, and the objective was to get from one side of an island to to the other. Basically a d-day like scenario. It was always the craziest to play, you'd throw the boat onto the beach in full throttle. Guys are firing all this stuff from positions on the beach and you gotta get out and run. There were all these elevated platforms local kids had built into the trees and we had people posed on them all in elevated positions. Craziest game ever. On man, I have soo many paintball stories. |
